Skill Development

Skill Development Initiatives by National Education and Welfare Society (NEWS)

Established in 2010, the National Education and Welfare Society (NEWS) has consistently worked towards empowering communities through education, training, and inclusive development. A major focus of the organization has been Skill Development, especially for underprivileged and unemployed youth across India.

Over the years, NEWS has successfully implemented multiple skill development projects tailored to the evolving needs of the job market. These programs have included vocational training in trades like sewing machine operation, retail management, computer literacy, and financial services, among others. By aligning with national missions such as Skill India and partnering with organizations like NABARD, SIDBI, MSME, RSLDC, NSDC, MWC SK Foundation. NEWS has enabled thousands of young individuals to gain meaningful employment and achieve financial independence.

The Society’s approach combines practical training, soft skill development, career counseling, and job placement support. Its grassroots outreach ensures even the most marginalized sections of society—including women, physically challenged individuals, and school dropouts—receive opportunities to build dignified and sustainable livelihoods.

Through a decade of dedicated efforts, the National Education and Welfare Society has emerged as a trusted name in community development and continues to drive positive change by equipping India's youth with the skills needed to thrive.

Because of our partners we are doing more good for more people!
