Women Empowerment

Healthcare Programs by National Education and Welfare Society (NEWS)

Since its inception in 2010, the National Education and Welfare Society (NEWS) has been committed to improving the quality of life in underserved communities through various healthcare initiatives. Understanding that good health is the foundation of sustainable development, NEWS has implemented multiple healthcare programs targeting vulnerable populations across rural and urban areas.

The Society has organized free health check-up camps, awareness drives, senior citizen wellness camps, and women’s health programs focusing on menstrual hygiene, nutrition, and maternal care. NEWS has also taken proactive steps in installing sanitary pad vending machines in schools and public spaces to promote menstrual hygiene management among adolescent girls.

Through partnerships with healthcare professionals, hospitals, and CSR wings of corporate houses, NEWS has ensured access to essential health services for those who need them the most. Special attention is given to preventive healthcare and health education, empowering individuals to take charge of their well-being.

With a holistic approach, NEWS continues to strengthen community health systems, promote awareness, and bring essential healthcare services to the doorstep of the underserved.

Because of our partners we are doing more good for more people!
